There are days when you know you weren’t doing something right. These are the nights you never go to bed. Passion found Jeremy Buhler young. From his earliest days, riding and roping grabbed something in him and wouldn’t let go. But passion doesn’t get you anywhere on its own. Try to let it be and it just consumes you. Jeremy will tell you that passion isn’t just another beast to wrangle. You’ve got to sweat to feed it. You’ve got to bleed to shape it. You’ve got to believe to handle it.
When the gate opens and the steer takes off, Jeremy has a job to do. It’s over in seconds, and he makes it look easy. What you don’t see are the years of effort, the days of pain, the bruises, the scars…the work. The same is true for our modern life.
