THE GRID OPCO CODES

The Grid is Quanta’s employee communications tool that serves as a primary source of company news and information for all employees, no matter where they work in the world or their role in the company. Available as an app and a website experience, The Grid gives you quick and easy access to the news, information, resources, and people you need at Quanta.

WHAT IS THE GRID?

Beyond being able to get all the latest Quanta news and information personalized based on your interests, The Grid offers other features that include:

<li>Engaging with Quanta leaders</li>
<li>Connecting with co-workers from your location and around the world</li>
<li>Interacting with content, posting comments, responding to the news, and answering polls</li>
</ul>

WHAT ARE THE OTHER KEY FEATURES OF THE GRID?

The Grid will give you quick and easy access to the news, stories, resources, and people you need at Quanta and within your OpCo.
It’s also customizable, meaning you can personalize your experience. Subscribe to the topics you want and catch up on what’s new with content that’s summarized in your newsfeed.
Available push notifications also provide you with real-time updates for quick access.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE GRID?

The Grid is being developed for all Quanta employees – in the office or the field. Everyone is welcome.
Rollout of the app is being phased over 2025, so if your OpCo isn’t on the platform yet, please be patient!

Who can join The Grid?

No. The app and website experiences are both free.

Does it cost anything to join The Grid?

While it’s not mandatory to join The Grid, we strongly encourage you to register. The Grid will be the primary source for Quanta news and information going forward, and we don’t want you to miss out!

Do I have to join The Grid? 

No. You only need to join The Grid once. The Grid “remembers you” across the experiences, so you don’t need to re-register on different platforms. After you download the app for the first time, you will need to log in either via SSO or with the username and password you created on the web into the app login screen. You’ll then be able to access The Grid via the app, as well.

I registered via the web, but also want to use the app. Do I need to rejoin on the app?

Absolutely. The Grid can be downloaded to your smartphone. The app is iOS and Android compatible. You can search for it in your app store or text “TheGrid” to 45411.

Can I use The Grid on my personal smartphone? 

Enabling push notifications is encouraged, but not mandatory.

Do I have to enable push notifications?

We consider The Grid to be a community. It’s for our employees, by our employees. We encourage you to react to the content that you like, comment on posts that resonate with you, and tag your co-workers to give them a shoutout or to ensure they don’t miss seeing the content.
Certain topics are available for employee submissions, too. We welcome your participation!

Can I contribute content to The Grid?

Yes. Our Code of Conduct and Social Media policies apply to The Grid, so in particular, anything of a profane, discriminatory, or defamatory nature is strictly prohibited.

Are there restrictions as to what can be shared on The Grid?

The Grid has built-in translation capabilities. The platform automatically adapts to your smartphone or computer language settings, offering you the option to translate text into your native language.

What about languages? Is the content only in English?

<h2>CONTENT &amp; LANGUAGES</h2>

Only to authenticate that you are a Quanta employee. Those registering via SSO will automatically be authenticated by Quanta security.
For those using a Username and Password to register for the app, the system will verify you as a Quanta employee via user verification questions. This verification step only needs to happen once. You’ll then have access to The Grid and can log in with your Username and Password.

Will my employee data be used with The Grid? 

Yes and no. The system will show if you are registered and the channels you have selected to follow, as well as if you have chosen to receive push notifications. The system will also identify you as the user if you post content, leave comments, or share content to your social feeds such as Facebook or LinkedIn, where applicable. Beyond that, any user data collected by the system is essentially anonymous. The system can only see the “what,” not the “who.”

Will my use-data be collected if I join The Grid? 

Yes. The Grid operates in a secure environment and complies with Quanta standards. Our software partner has industry-leading security, privacy, and compliance processes in place to help ensure data security.

Will my data be protected if I join The Grid?

Yes. The Grid complies with government- and company-mandated data privacy protections. Access is restricted to those few in the organization authorized to view employee data. Multiple layers of controls are built-in to deliver a customized experience without compromises and for peace of mind.

Will my privacy be protected if I join The Grid?
